Learning options:
Teacher-assisted and Self-paced

At Toronto Imperial School, we offer two learning options for our students: teacher-assisted and self-paced.

Whether you require guidance from teachers or prefer the flexibility of independent learning, our program ensures that every student has the opportunity to succeed on the best path for them and reach their full potential.

Both options meet all of the requirements of the Ontario Ministry of Education.

Our program offers subjects that may not be available at your local school. At the end of each academic year, local credits are reviewed and accepted by our program.

Upon completion of the entire path of the program, students will receive a Canadian diploma and an official transcript.

Learning options

Self-paced

The self-paced option is designed for students who wish to study on their own.

Student questions on content are answered by a tutor, who also evaluates assessments. All materials are accessible through the Tutor’s Portal.******

A tutor monitors student progress and achievement.

Students may receive a detailed course outline and gradebook from their tutor to follow progress.******

Teacher-assisted

The teacher-assisted option is designed for students who want additional support from a certified teacher.

Student questions on content are answered by a Canadian teacher, who also grades assessments, offering detailed feedback.

A teacher monitors student progress and achievement, which is accessible anytime through the Tutor’s Portal.******

Students will receive progress reports, midterm and final reports, and a certificate of course completion.
